I got knocked on my ass today….it just something I gotta work through…..and no it hasn’t been the first time…..but it’s nothing to get used to….heart and mind says this is it…..I’m fighting to get back…..my pride and soul won’t let me quit…..I call it a setback….so I’m not thinking bout quitting….hell no I ain’t leaving….so instead I’ll mend my understanding….with my own version of reasoning….like me….today was a day where many were knocked down….where the hardest part of the ordeal…..was rising from the ground….everyone fighting to get up…..is a delusion I’d love…..reality is….I have to be one of the few people who actually does…. I could think of my fall…..filling my heart full of sorrow….but I choose not to dwell on the past….I’m not scared of my tomorrow….prepared for any obstacle….that stands in my way….I willingly look forward….cause tomorrow’s a new day….losing sight of any damage the previous has done….cause I realize on that new day….we’re all back to square one….tomorrow will outshine my today….and everyone can bet that…..today I got knocked on my ass….it’s no more than a minor Setback! - Syncere

IN LOVE WITH SYN
Let's keep everything real no need to pretend.
I have dated other men in past, and none of them compare to syn.
He's more than a lover, he is my best friend.
Even when I feel it's time to leave something pulls me back to syn.
Maybe because I never known anyone like him.
I have really grown to love him so leaving syn really doesn't make sense.
I don't mean to sound hype or tense, but you don't even know what my type is.
So all you need to know is when I hear his name being called out I jump to his defense.
Maybe soon all the other guys will catch on to my hints,
that I'm his no test nor quiz can tell me different.
He beats out the best, so you know the rest doesn't have a chance.
I must confess this is not a mind thing.
This is something I feel deep in my chest.
Some say I'm blind, and he is not all mine.

What He Doesn't Know Won't Hurt Him!
| He doesn't have to know that I say a prayer for him every night. He doesn't need to know that he's my all in all, and how god blesses my eyes with him in my sight. He doesn't need to know that I am his biggest fan. He doesn't need to know that, I dont want for another man. He doesn't need to know that I would swim seas, climb mountains, circle the moon to be in his arms. He doesn't need to know that my measurement of love for him is only comparable to his his gentleness, his charms. He doesn't need to know that I have no time to share, because its consumed by the thoughts of love that we two share. He doesn't need to know that he is my king, and that I sit at the foot of his throne in wait to be his everything.......... But what he does need to know is that I love him and without him love just wont do. And I have prepared a special place for him in my heart, with hopes that he finds comfort there, and loves me the same way too. He has to know with him is where I want to be. Making him a happy man, who has love for but one woman.... me. He has to know that I would never leave him lonely. Maybe in times when I doing the being his woman thing (washing his clothes, being a mother to his children, preparing his meals), but for that split second only. He doesnt need to know that I love him so much, so lets keep this hush, it wont hurt, if he doesn't know. With words unheard, is how my love will show. |
